| Q: How is eCRUSH® different from a dating service? |

A blind date with a stranger who supposedly shares your love of "cuddling and being goofy" or European films can be stressful, expensive and a total waste of time. Why date someone you've never met? We don't play "matchmaker"; we provide a safe way to build upon feelings for someone you've already met and have feelings for. |

| Q: How do I cancel my autorenewing subscription to eSPIN-the-Bottle? |

- Login to your PayPal account
- If (and only if) you have multiple subscriptions, click on where it says "Active" next to the one you want to cancel. If you only have one subscription, skip to the next step.
- At the bottom of the page, there will be a button to "Cancel Subscription"
- On the next page, hit "Cancel Subscription" again to complete the cancellation
PLEASE NOTE: CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT CANCEL THE EXISTING PERIOD YOU'VE ALREADY PAID FOR. It merely cancels future automatic renewals. If you have any problems with billing, feel free to send an email to fifi@ecrush.com.

All kidding aside, we know how difficult it is to express feelings for someone. eCRUSH® was started because we knew, from personal experience, that revealing your feelings can be risky. If your romantic interest turns out to not be mutual or if your timing is off, making a wrong first move can make a friendship or work relationship really uncomfortable. | Q: What kind of information do you gather about me when I am on your site? |

Just basic demographic information for our own internal tracking, and of course to match you up with a crush as accurately as possible. This information is only collected when you register. We do offer free newsletters and other promotions at different parts of the site; these are all "opt-in", meaning you have to choose to receive them. We hope you do support these, as we want to continue to keep eCRUSH® free. |

| Q: How do I know eCRUSH® is legit? |

eCRUSH® is the legitimate, original "crush" service. If you get a "crush" email from us, it was placed by an actual person who knows you. After seeing the success of eCRUSH®, at least one other site has sprouted up with the intention of driving traffic to their site by spamming people using falsified "crush" emails and "crush hints" in a cheap and fraudulent manner. We have never used spam and would never play with people's emotions that way. eCRUSH® has over 1.6 million registered users and has legitimately matched over 350,000 people in just over 2 years. |

| Q: I'm worried people will find out I put an eCRUSH® them. How do you keep this from happening? |

Your love life is your business. We guarantee that everything you give us will be held in complete confidence, encrypted in our secure server database. The only way people can ever find out the identity of someone who has an eCRUSH® on them is if they register and eCRUSH® the same person who eCRUSHed them. In this case, the crush becomes a MATCH! The sole purpose of eCRUSH® is to bring together people who already like each other, but may not know the feeling is mutual.
If you're really worried that the other person may figure out your identity when they receive the someone has an eCRUSH® on you email, then just opt not to send the email when you choose them as an eCRUSH® (of course, this makes it harder for your crush to find out about eCRUSH®). |

| Q: What's the difference between PRIVACY and SECURITY? |

SECURITY - is all about making sure that any sensitive information you give us stays between us and cannot be accessed by outsiders.
PRIVACY - is all about our promise to you that anything you tell us will be kept totally confidential. This includes all information about yourself, who you have a crush on, etc. |

| Q: How do I know your site is secure? |

We have paid computer geeks loads of money, given them attractive benefits packages, and have occasionally brought in free donuts to make sure that everything you submit stays confidential. Unless you give out your eCRUSH® username and password, nobody can access your data. |

| Q: How do I send an eCRUSH®? |
| A: |
First, you need somebody that you have a crush on. Once you've got that out of the way you need to, signup for an account. Add this person to your eCRUSH® list and we'll take care of the rest. It's highly recommended that you have us send your crush an ANONYMOUS eCRUSH® e-mail to let them know somebody's got their eye on them. Not to worry -- we'll never tell them who you are. |

| Q: What if I enter my eCRUSH® in the database and nothing happens? |

Be patient. Relax. Have a cup of tea. Matches don't necessarily happen right away. Your eCRUSHes® may not have joined eCRUSH® yet themselves, or maybe they have just not discovered your special charms. We're here to break the ice, but it's up to you to stir up the interest. When they fall for you, we'll match you up (as long as you are still an eCRUSH® member, of course). |

| Q: Can a person I eCRUSH® tell how many other people I've listed? |

Nope. Your account information is totally confidential. They can't find out anything about you until/unless there's a match between you two - and even then they wouldn't be able to find out if you'd crushed other people. |

| Q: What do I do when my feelings change about my eCRUSH®? |

It's important to keep your eCRUSH® list up-to-date, and we'll remind you of this with periodic e-mails. If you lose interest in someone, you should take that person off your list before you get a match you don't want. It barely takes a minute to log in and update or delete your eCRUSHes®. |

Of course. Your sexual preferences are your business, and eCRUSH® never discriminates on the bases of sex, sexual orientation, race or any such criteria. |

The odds are better than you think -- certainly worth the 3 minutes it takes to sign up. Since our debut on February 14, 1999 over 300,000 people who have joined eCRUSH® have actually matched. Obviously, you can't match up with people who haven't yet joined eCRUSH®, so if you want to give us their email address, we'll let them know that someone (don't worry, we won't tell them who) has a crush on them. |

Don't give up. At least that person is now registered at eCRUSH®, and who knows? Romance works in mysterious ways. The beauty of eCRUSH® is that it eliminates the uncertainty of timing when it comes to romance. Down the line, that special someone may notice your new hairdo or witty banter, wise up, and pick you. And on your end, if you lose interest in someone you eCRUSHed®, just log on and update your choices (every so often, we'll email you a reminder). |

| Q: Can't you just tell me who put an eCRUSH® on me? |

Nope. We can't. The only way you will find out is if you register and put an eCRUSH® on that same person. If we were to tell you who's eCRUSHing you without eCRUSHing that person, we defeat the whole purpose of eCRUSH®. |

Read or submit true life bad date stories (we only post the best, i.e the worst) at HorrorDate. Wanna know which human is the most crushed? Go to Celebrity Fantasy Crush. Try our fortune tellers if you just have to know instantly if that hottie feels the same about you -- or if it's in the stars between you and that celebrity you lust after. Hone your pickup chops, or just get some giggles, at Throw Me A Line, the Web's largest database of pickup lines.

Log into you account and click on the "your account" link at the top of the page. Under the "contacting you" section, you'll see all your eZINE subscriptions. Select your desired settings, and click the "update info" button to continue. You can also update your mailing preferences by clicking on a link at the bottom of the newsletters we send you. |

We have two basic emails we may send you:
"Somebody has a CRUSH on you" email. This means someone likes you and asked us to send you a email, hoping you would sign up on our site and list them. Which leads to the next email...
"You have a MATCH" email. This means that two people listed each other on their crush lists. When a match occurs we email both parties and invite them to hook up in our swanky Match Lounge. |
